ICF CUSTOM BUILDERS | SOUTHWEST MISSOURI & NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
ICF SAFE ROOMS
One of the key advantages of adding an ICF safe room to your custom home or addition is how easily it can be incorporated into your construction plans. Designed with flexibility in mind, our safe rooms can be customized to fit a variety of spaces while delivering the strength and protection your family deserves.
Why invest in an ICF Safe room?
integrating safety in your new build
The Ozarks is no stranger to extreme weather events. Our region in Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas experiences an average of 35-45 tornadoes each year, along with numerous instances of severe thunderstorms that can bring extreme winds, hail, and flooding. With these conditions in mind, an ICF safe room provides the ultimate safeguard.
PEACE OF MIND
Knowing that you have a secure place to retreat to during an emergency brings unparalleled peace of mind. You can rest easy knowing that your family is protected by a room designed to withstand the harshest conditions, including tornadoes, which are a significant threat in the Ozarks region.
INCREASED HOME VALUE
Safe rooms are a valuable addition to any home, and their presence can significantly increase your property’s value. Potential buyers recognize the importance of having a secure, well-built safe room, making your home more attractive on the market.
CUSTOMIZAble FLEXIBILITY
At ICF Walls of the Ozarks, we work with you to design a safe room that fits your specific needs and preferences. Whether you want a simple, functional space or a multi-purpose room that doubles as an office, pantry, bathroom, or storage, we can make it happen.

solar power for your icf home
energy independence
Pairing solar with ICF gives you greater control over your energy use. Off-grid or grid-tied, solar power reduces reliance on traditional utilities and helps you move toward net zero living—where your home produces as much renewable energy as it consumes over the course of a year. This means lower bills and long-term sustainability.
maximum efficiency
ICF’s double-insulated walls dramatically reduce energy loss, creating a tight thermal envelope that keeps your home comfortable year-round. Because these homes require far less energy to heat and cool, you can achieve the same—or greater—savings with a smaller solar array compared to a traditional build, resulting in lower upfront solar costs.
Sustainable value
Pairing the efficiency of ICF with the renewable energy of solar power, not only lowers energy use and utility costs but also increases long-term property value. With durability, efficiency, and sustainability built in, adding solar to your ICF custom home is an investment that benefits both your family and the environment for generations.
grid-tie solar package
Our grid-tied solar package is designed to maximize efficiency and reduce monthly energy costs. By connecting your system to the utility grid, you can offset energy use, take advantage of net metering, and work toward achieving net-zero living. This option combines the reliability of grid access with the savings and sustainability of solar power.
off-grid solar package
Our off-grid solar package provides complete energy independence, giving your home reliable power without relying on traditional utilities. Paired with battery storage, this system is designed to keep your household running smoothly—even during outages—while reducing your environmental impact. It’s an ideal solution for homeowners who want true self-sufficiency and long-term energy security.
